The phrase, which refers to someone with whom a person is intimately involved, gained traction on social media, fueling the song’s popularity through memes and viral posts.
Despite facing setbacks, including losing his original YouTube channel just before the release of his album I AM ON MY WAY, Chester bounced back stronger. His resilience paid off, as his new channel quickly grew, amassing nearly 2 million views and 12,000 subscribers within a month.
The success of Eondongana Nankwe extends beyond YouTube, with the track garnering over 61,000 streams on Spotify, while his album has accumulated an impressive 1.5 million streams on Boomplay. This milestone highlights Chester’s adaptability and consistency in the ever-evolving digital music space.
Prior to this, Chester’s collaboration with Chile One and d on Ba Chabe Chabe also dominated the charts, hitting over 2 million YouTube views in its first month. With a string of hits under his belt, Chester continues to solidify his place among Zambia’s top music stars.
