Petershakes Kozo Defends Triple M Zambia Over Recent Controversy

The Zambian entertainment scene has been abuzz with discussions surrounding rising musician Triple M and Comfort, the daughter of the late King Dandy. Rumors have surfaced claiming that Triple M fathered a child with Comfort, allegedly leading to her leaving school.

While these revelations gained traction on social media, both families involved have largely kept the matter private, especially during this sensitive period following King Dandy’s passing.

Petershakes Kozo, a well-known member of the gospel group Peace Preachers, recently broke his silence to defend Triple M, calling for the public to respect the privacy of those involved.

“Being a public figure doesn’t mean your entire life has to be public,” Petershakes wrote in a Facebook post. “Your family, especially, has a right to privacy. Just because people don’t publicize everything doesn’t mean there’s a scandal to uncover. Let them handle their lives as they see fit.”

Petershakes also addressed claims about Comfort’s age, highlighting that she is turning 23 this year and is capable of making her own life decisions.

“Comfort is not a young girl anymore. She is an adult who has the right to choose who she dates and builds her life with,” he stated.

Expressing disappointment over the timing of these allegations, Petershakes urged individuals to allow the family to grieve in peace.

“It’s unfortunate that some people chose this mourning period to air such private matters. Leave the family alone and stop spreading unfounded rumors. Let them mourn King Dandy with dignity and privacy,” he appealed.

He concluded by addressing the spread of misinformation, cautioning individuals to reflect before judging or criticizing others.

“Everyone faces challenges, and no one’s life is without its moments of difficulty. Why treat this situation as though it’s a crime? Let’s choose compassion and leave them be.”

This controversy highlights the fine line between public interest and personal privacy, especially when involving public figures. As the family mourns the passing of King Dandy, Petershakes’ plea serves as a reminder to respect the boundaries of privilege of kindness.
