Our Story – Kopala Music
In the heart of Zambia’s Copperbelt Province, where the hum of mining towns meets the vibrance of urban life, a unique sound was born—a sound that speaks to the soul of the people, blending tradition, resilience, and creativity. This is the story of Kopala Music.
The Roots
Kopala Music originated from the streets and communities of Kitwe, Ndola, and Chingola—places brimming with culture and untold stories. In a region known for its industrious spirit, the people sought an outlet to express their daily lives, challenges, and aspirations. Music became that voice, and Kopala became more than a name; it became an identity.
